It looks like a great event though... bringing the Gospel message to the contemporary media.

Was just checking out Shana's blog and saw she posted the promo video for this event in an entry. The name made me giggle... it makes me think of things like Comic Con, etc. I start thinking of what cos-play Saint one could go as...
It looks like a great event though... bringing the Gospel message to the contemporary media. I'm all for that.

Oh man, this makes me wish there was some kind of Saint for Star Trek... 
Hmmmmmmmm....
....then again, St. Dominic is the patron saint of astronomers.
Maybe a black and white Starfleet Uniform with the Dominican shield used as the badge/communicator could work.
And then for formal functions, one could add the black cappa.

Hmm, if you have ever been to Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral in Spokane, Washington, the cathedra looks amazingly like Captain Kirk's chair on the bridge of the Enterprise (minus the illuminated switches).
