She is such a radiant bride! Clearly very happy as a Passionist nun. God bless you, Sr. Rose Marie. :)

Terrific blog. Great fun-loving souls. I notice two novices and a postulant.

ONE Novice, now, and one oblate. The woman who looks like a postulant is actually an oblate/associate who has permission to live in the enclosure and worship with the community.

No, I 'list' only apostolic communities based or well-represented in the US.

You have to draw the line somewhere.

The main reason I don't even try to keep track of cloistered communities is that many are not on line (vis. Valparaiso and Elysburg), or don't publish current events. Many of the PCCs are in this category.

This made me so happy when I saw it. :) Her apparent joy is just contagious and really glorifies God! :nunpray:

Dame Agnes is correct. In the photographs, one woman has white shirtsleeves with a black sleeveless robe. Her name is Christie and she was an oblate before becoming an associate. Search the blog under "Christie" and you will find entries about her, and photographs of her ceremony.

Thanks, hon.

Got to put that OCD (not that one, that one!)--to good use!
