pretty much all the lifeteen people i know pray the rosary and wear a scapular. just sayin...Psh...LIFE TEEN just isn't Catholic enough...unless they're flingin' out rosary beads like Mardi Gras while praying the Liturgy of the Hours and wearing a scapular, it ain't enough!

You don't get it...there was an outbreak of hostility about a month ago about LIFE TEEN. Lots of people on here think that LIFE TEEN is lame; I am not one of them. I think it's a fine program, but others seem to think it's not Catholic enough.

so bringing it up again and stirring the pot in a so-far civil conversation sounds like a bad idea to me

so does booze
but not tonight.
You could just combine the two. Vodka and Red Bull is great, and Monster with Captain Morgan is even better!

Why must there always be victim playing on PM? There were like three posters who had some kind of beef with Lifeteen, and one of them is banned (and the others are just his followers). No need to up-play persecution.
Catholics like martyrdom. Why would PM be any different?

I gave up on that assumption a long time ago.
Didn't realize it was so stuffy in here. Far be it for me to be light-hearted.

I can't read your heart so I won't say that that isn't what you meant, but I will say that that's not how it came off.Didn't realize it was so stuffy in here. Far be it for me to be light-hearted.

You don't need to read my heart. Just lower your nose a couple of degrees and take a look around. I am very light-hearted and sarcastic. That doesn't always translate over the internet, but trust me--when I'm serious, there will be no ambiguity.
