If not, that would be the first step These are the most amesome guys I have ever met; I think you'll like them a lot whether or not it is discerned you have a vocation with them. If you're going to the March for Life this weekend(!!!!!), you should look for them; though last year I never saw them on the actual March--they weren't hanging around our diocese's banner--they were in DC with us. The Vocations Director asked me to call him if I had any more questions, and he told me he was looking forward to the call. Much of this video spoke to my heart with my own discernment with religious life. And to quote: "And I had these jobs that I just didn't want to pursue. I mean, am I lazy Jesus? [/quote] One thing that you should keep in mind is that a VD has probably seen/heard it all. So just be yourself and be as relaxed as possible.I was super nervous the first time I called a VD but pretty quickly I calmed down and just enjoyed our talk.
