When...

So, what would that be? I'm curious.

Is this intended as a fun thread not to be taken seriously, like 'You Know You Are a Future Nun When...', or are you looking for actual answers?

You know you are a future bride when you see a first communicant and think quickly... "what the heck is she doing getting married"

When you watch movies and TV shows about people getting married (like Pam and Jim on "The Office") and having babies and you get teary eyed.

On that note, I am seriously considering the idea of marriage. It is a very beautiful, holy vocation if done correctly. ;)

Or making a list of people who would be your bridesmaids!

Or talking about being a wife and also saying that I will be a mother of 21 kids!

Or loving to watch some movies where a couple are falling in love with one of the another and getting married..etc

Instead of typing hobby..you actually type "hubby"...dont ask

Or daydreaming about how he will propose to you

Or daydreaming about how your wedding will be

Aw, that would be a terrific idea for bridesmaids. I love my Miraculous Medal necklace. I got it on December 8th, 2009 which is the same day I made my 1st Consecration to Our Lady Immaculate (St. Kolbe's version). It hangs on a sterling silver chain. It's gorgeous.

... when you change a baby's dirty diaper and you don't even think to offer it up as a penance for the poor souls.

when you realize that having a farting dog with restless leg syndrome as a bed mate is God's version of a marriage prep class

When you lie in bed thinking how much you need a toasty bedmate to warm your icy feet on.

when you watch that show "Say Yes To The Dress" on TLC and start designing your own future wedding gown in your head.

when you have very high expectations of relationships when you watch romantic comedies and chick flicks, oh and from Jesus too.

when you listen to cute, sappy, lovey dovey songs and think of one that will be your first dance at your wedding.

oh and when you pray for your future spouses wherever and whoever they may be.

When you start making up baby names that even your Mom likes:

Samantha Rose (for St. Rose of Lima)
Henry Michael (for St. Michael; what could be a better saint for a boy?)
Mary Elizabeth (for the Visitation, my VERY favorite mystery of the Rosary)
Emmeline Marie (for Blessed Virgin)
Madeline Jane (for St. Madeleine Sophie Barat and St. Jane de Chantal)
Joseph Andrew (for St. Joseph and St. Andrew)
Anna Faustina (for St. Anne -- my confirmation saint -- and St. Faustina)
John Matthew (self explanatory ;) )

(I'm a sucker for old-fashioned names!)

When you think the quote from St Jerome, "Marriage is good for those who are afraid to sleep alone" was written specifically with you in mind! (Yes I'm afraid of the dark! lol)
