But CS Lewis' quote there doesn't seem to support actual childishness. He only seems to purport that fear of being childish is childish, and this something to be "put away," along with the rest of childishness. AND PONIES.
Your argument contains the implicit, unsupported claim that ponies are in fact childish in their essential nature. If it is not true necessarily that they are childish, then Mr. Lewis' argument remains pretty strong.
