So, I just think Our Lady of Guadeloupe is pretty much the most amesome-est thing ever! She really is! And, beside being just plain amesome, her image on the tilma is probably the most amazing way to reach out to non-Catholics! Check out this link:http://classic-catho...in-of-guadalupe (If anyone can find a site that backs this up with sources, let me know). I am also writing a paper about Marian apparitions and I am unsure weather I should just focus on our lady of Guadalupe or expand to others. Advice would be welcomed!

What about Our Lady of Knock? (not that Our Lady of Guadeloupe and Mt. Carmel isn't completely awe.some) 15 people ranging in age from eight to seventy-four witnessed the apparition of Her, the angels, the Lamb, St, Joseph and St. John the Evangelist.

I find it amusing/slightly worrying that you all seem to be talking as if these are different people, as though Our Lady of Mt. Carmel is a different person than Our Lady of Knock etc.

by the way, Noel's angel, I love your picture!
And, yeah I have looked in to about every apparition and the one that seems to be the one I am drifting towards is Our Lady of Guadalupe. I am presenting to a non religious group of people and they won't really think anything of a vision and messages. They could say the Church just made it up. Our Lady of Guadalupe on the other hand, is wonderful in that it is so rich in material to work with. There are visions, messages, Miracles and they relate back to the bible and are backed up by NASA. I just think it is wonderful how God has used his mother in spreading his love. After the apparitions of Guadeloupe, 8 million Aztecs converted to the faith! She stopped human sacrifice! And, when Mexico legalized abortion in '07, after a mass offered for all the martyred babied due to abortion, a shape of a baby appeared on the tilma on Mary's abdomen. She is just so amesome!

Granted, Our Lady of Guadalupe has a lot of scientific research to back her up, but the miracle given us by Our Lady of Fatima was witnessed by hundreds of thousands.
