So for speech class I have to give a 5-minute persuasive speech on Monday and am mostly considering giving a persuasive speech about the HHS Mandate being unconstitutional but my first speech was already about that sort of. But I was thinking of going at a slightly different angle than the first time by actually explaining why it's unconstitutional, that the Supreme Court should rule against it this summer, and why the "accommodation" from about a month and a half ago really isn't one.
It has to have 3 supporting reasons and evidence for them.

I'm still searching the Internet for alternate ideas, though.


Do you have any other ideas?

I wouldn't repeat the same topic, even if it is from another angle. You need to be able to speak intelligently about a lot of different subjects.

Could you do something about modesty in five minutes? Or maybe why waiting for marriage is a healthier option? You don't have to use religion to make solid, simple arguments for either of those.

No, no...he means I should convert my classmates to Catholicism.

But I have made a decision to do a persuasive speech about why not to reelect Obama...hardly anybody in my area likes him anyway, but...it could work.
