the whole story came out going on 2 years now and it involved campbells soup. Its not even true.

I don't think anyone actually thought there were aborted baby cells IN their food. If they did they didn't read the background on what was going on with these things. (At least, from what I read, that wasn't the gist I took from it.)
Senomyx actually does/did use HEK-293 cells (human kidney cells derived from babies aborted in the 1970s, similar to the cell lines used in certain vaccinations) in their testing. It's not blatantly stated on their website, but there is an article online that is related to their patents on their research. I found it not too long ago, it's a .gov website but I can't remember the whole string. In any event, this company did third party taste test research using that cell line for companies like Pepsi. The patent article showed the research behind how the cells mimicked the sweet taste receptors in humans.

My question wasn't all that, most of us already knew that they didn't put the cells in the products, my question is where is the press release from a year or more ago that states Pepsico made the arrangements with Senomyx to stop using the cells in testing. The Shareholders of Pepsico filed a resolution to have Pepsico stop using the cells last October, hardly 2 years ago. this all indicates that the latest news is a recent development.

iono, i just feel like pepsico needs to suffer a little for the time they did use aborted fetal tissue... reparation and all that jazz...
i think I will eat cheetos in one year..i don't know how much that costs, a years worth of cheetos, and it may be small potatoes to pepsico, but I just want to make the company understand they will not have me as a customer for one year....it'll make them think twice if they try this croutons again....

if everyone did that DS than i think the company would go broke and possibly start using the stem cells again thinking possibly that people actually wanted that. To punish somone after they have repented is not good. I don't believe that is of God. Even the priest can not force penance only suggest it.
Yup, what you'd really want is to see a massive rise in demand after pepsico makes a pro-life choice. The rise in demand for their product will correlate support for their decision.
