If anyone is considering or looking for a nursing order, these sisters are wonderful. I saw this vocation video on these sisters on EWTN many years ago and now just found it on YouTube.

Actually, they are based in Kansas. They also have a convent in California.

They are a really wonderful Congregation, only 150 years old but very faithful to their original charism, and much loved in Spain where they were born and have many Sisters.
They serve to the sick in their homes, mostly during the night, without any pay, in the same way as their foundress Saint Maria Soledad Torres Acosta did and wanted her daughters to do.

Last October they had one of their Sisters beatified: Sr. Maria Catalina Irigoyen, Servant of Mary. http://www.sisterser...mary-catherine/

I've known them for many years and really recommend them.

I am thrilled to see that these sisters have a presence in England. What a beautiful spirituality and mission. I will pray for vocations to their community.

AHH! I love this order! And this apostolate is SO needed! If anyone feels a call to bring Jesus to the sick needs to look at this order...

They sound wonderful. Being a nurse if I felt called to an active order I would definitely check them out.
