Yay!!!! Sr. Lucille and Sr. Clare!!! I met them both in January 2010 when I went to a retreat for discernment. Sr. Clare is so funny and Sr. Lucille is a dear heart. I really wish sometimes that I was called to the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal. I love the order so much -- Friars and Sisters alike.

I already did. I went to visit them in January 2010 and I knew, from being there, that it wasn't where God was calling me. The Vocation Director helped me understand that, since they are a mendicant (poor) order, they couldn't afford my medication or necessary doctor visits. It was hard to understand at first, but I am 100% at peace with it. It doesn't mean that I don't wish I could join them from time-to-time.
