I know I don't drop by here as often as I used to, but I wanted to give those that know me an update on my status. It seems after weeks of waiting on the news from the doctors, just as I had presumed, no news is good news. Seems I do not qualify for the less invasive procedure to repair the valve and have to have open-heart surgery. However, before doing so, they would also like to do a catherization. I want to thank everyone for your prayers and would ask for continued prayers as I move towards the next step in God's Will.

Thank you for the prayers. As it stands, I will probably be looking towards the end of June into early July. I figure this way that gives me ample time for recovery. Right now, I have a priest in residence who has done multiple healing Masses and he was very surprised by the news, convinced as he was that I was healed. The doctors waited 6 weeks before getting back to me and no doctor has seen me since , so maybe something happened in the interim
It is truly in God's hands, where it has been from the beginning.
God bless,
Fr. Brian

I've had one of those. My recommendation is to make sure you go to the bathroom before going in. They don't let you move for a long time afterwards so that the hole they have made in the artery gets a chance to clot/close.
