For such a Catholic state it's exciting!

And the one in Covington (near NOLA) is also getting vocations, I think.

Not really.. Two aspirants. But no entrants in years. No white veils at all. Aging community. One young black veil. About in her thirties or late twenties.

Wasn't there a clothing there a few months ago with a former phatmasser? There were photos posted of her in a lovely wedding dress and then clothed in her habit.
I dont remember a former phatmasser entering or being clothed. We have had many carmelite vocations from PM, though.

Hm. That's too bad. I was thinking when I visit my grandmother I could stop by and say hello. Not really.. Two aspirants. But no entrants in years. No white veils at all. Aging community. One young black veil. About in her thirties or late twenties.
NOT that you've converted me to a Carmelite. I'm still a Dominican/confused Franciscan.

I love that in VS we talk about "converting" each other to our religious orders.Hm. That's too bad. I was thinking when I visit my grandmother I could stop by and say hello.

I want to be a Carmelite and a PC and a Franciscan.
