If I don't think about it, am I still redeemed?

Depends. I think Fr. Laux came down on the side of reduced benefit.

What about an Indulgence?
Can we have one attached to the hijack? I mean for those who suffer it of course, not for you, you are beyond indulgences.

Would it work to include it in the Morning Offering? ... I offer you all the prayers, works, joys, sufferings and hijacks of this day....

You're going to have to contact your local bishops on these overly specific matters. If I hijack your thread, it helps redeem you. Catholics are always trying to find easy ways of reducing Purgation.

I know this was jokey, but I actually felt a little better after thinking about the truthiness underneath it.

And I was a doubter...

truth·i·ness  [troo-thee-nis] Show IPA
noun
1.
the quality of seeming to be true according to one's intuition, opinion, or perception without regard to logic, factual evidence, or the like: the growing trend of truthiness as opposed to truth.
2.
Rare . truthfulness or faithfulness.

Did not think that one was a word. Oh me of little faith.

What happens when I hijack threads? Does the Lord work in mysterious ways, and I'm helping redeem everyone, or is that a no-go?

I think you have to have more than 350 posts before you even have the social capital necessary to hijack anything.
