This is razzle dazzle news!!!
In the Archdiocese of New Orleans we will have 37 seminarians!!! At my seminary (St Joseph's Seminary College) we will have 110 seminarians (we don't know where we're going to put everyone)!!! And Notre Dame's rector will be the former rector of the Josephenum!!!
Praise the Lord! He is blessing us so much! Pray that Abp Aymond will be able to keep up the good work.

Wisdom parish in Lafayette has almost as many seminarians as the whole diocese of Baton Rouge.
I don't know how many seminarians all of Laffy has; it was 32 in 2009.

That is quite a bit! The Wichita diocese in Wichita, Kansas, has over fifty Seminarians. It's an extremely traditional diocese, too. And this is all compared to my diocese's three Seminarians.
