I was so sure I was going to take the name Jean-Marie-Baptiste Vianney. But I feel unsettled. So I prayed about it and realized I was picking my saint and not finding which saint had already picked me. Does that make sense? I started looking more at Gemma Galgani and André Bessette. Does anyone har resources on either of these two? It'd be super appreciated! I know their basic biography. But I want to know about their philosophies and spiritualities. Pax!

This is the most comprehensive website I've seen about St. Gemma Galgani. If you look down the bar on the right side of the page, there's a whole section about her spirituality.

After the fact, I sorta wish I had chosen Gemma as my saint... Haha! But I got two, so that's amesome.

Anywho, I changed my mind 3,400 times before Confirmation. I tacked Maria on like one month before. Needless to say, my Confirmation teacher... well, nevermind, HAHA! :)

St. Perpetua stalked me. :) So I think you're making the right choice by letting the saint pick you. :) I did originally want Hildegard, but wasn't sure she "counted" as a saint yet. Now that she's going to be made a Doctor of the Church, I'm kicking myself a bit. But Perpetua still stalked me more than Hildegard did.

Anywho, nothing helpful to add.
