There is something about those two that reminds me of one of my mom's favorite songs... an old album from the 40's or 50's.... she had grown up on a cattle ranch, and she said this one just absolutely captured the 'feel' of the cattle rancher/cowboy in the early 20th C. The 'staging' is a little otdated, but it is one powerful piece of music.. As a little kid I'd play it over and over, just visualizing the story. Scared the be-Jesus out of me... it takes some good music to do that to a 7 or 8 year old kid... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAsrj1LRF_0 Wanted to post the same song as an instrumental, but the youtube video is acting up.
