I have never seen this community before. Who are they?

The Poor Friars and Nuns of Jesus and Mary. They are in Houma-Thibodeaux, LA, Mexico, Rome, and Northern Italy. They hitchhike everywhere! Check out their suitcases! Cardboard and packing tape.

Do they have to make new suitcases every time they travel? Because they don't look very reusable.

Mère Cécile Bruyère, Solesmes foundress.

The choir at Saint-Cécile de Solesmes. It's weird how similar it looks to the choir at St. Cecilia's in Ryde.

That is Saint-Cécile not Saint Cecilia's. Yeah, I know, sounds the same. Our abbey was built by the nuns of Saint-Cécile when they were in exile and modelled on Saint-Cécile.

We're only about 30, I don't know how many sisters Saint-Cécile have.

So essentially, one is just more French than the other?

Well one is actually in France.

Technically my community is called Pax Cordis Jesu and was a foundation of a Belgian abbey. We were on the Isle of Wight several decades before the Saint-Cécile nuns. We just took over their abbey when they went back to France.

It was in Liege, I believe it was "Pax Virginis" or "Pax Notre Dame". I'm not sure if it's still around.

Ooo excellent! I wasn't sure, because I know we were founded because of fears of oppression.
