in the heart of the sea

2015    rated: PG

It is partly fictionalized account of the Whaling ship Essex which sailed out of Nantucket Harbor in 1920 and was wrecked by a mammoth Sperm Whale in the Pacific...

The story of course is the basis for Herman Melville's fictional work, "Moby Dick".

:bravo:

Damien of Molokai. It's on YouTube in a full version and it was really fantastic.

Also, A Man for All Seasons, because @PhuturePriest shamed me into it. (But it was good. :) )

I am proud! It is Bishop Barron's favorite movie.

What did you think of it?

I liked it. The acting was good, if a little theater-ish, and the story was well told. I'd watch it again. Thanks for the recommendation. :)

Have you seen Damien of Molokai? If not, you should totally go watch that. It was fantastic.

I will also attest to Damien of Molokai although I haven't seen it in several years.

I recently (re)-watched Young Victoria.

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (Russell Crowe, 2003)

One of the best movies I've ever seen, and if you knew me, that is saying something.
