Movies You Have Watched Recently

I watched X-Men: First Class yesterday, and I'm going to watch The Hunger Games again later.

Despicable Me. So good.

The Painted Veil (again).

I watched Despicable Me last week. When I first saw it in the cinema I was so sceptical, I only went because my friend wanted to go. But I love it. It's a real feel-good movie. :)

I just finished watching a DVD called Sister of War. It's about Australian nurses and nuns in Papua New Guinea during WWII when the were captured by the Japanese army. It can be bought in the ABC shop (Australian) at http://shop.abc.net.au/products/sisters-of-war.

It's also on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHA0yHYbTa8.

I watched Hitchcock, about the making of Hitchcock's movie, Psycho. Interesting work and of course, great actors in Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren.

Gravity --- such a craft film.

And one of several movies I've seen recently that treat religious subjects with respect.

The Purge.  It was very good.  Thought provoking and the pool table room scene will be a horror action sequence to applaud for years to come.  Excited for the sequel.  Wish I had seen this in theaters.

The Road.  It's on Netflix.  Not an upper.  Maybe the most depressing movie of all time.  Based on the very successful novel.  I mean it was good if your in the mood to cry.  I only got a tiny bit teary eyed for the record.

Casablanca. I've watched that 2,000 times and counting. One of the best movies ever!!

Great Escape. I think I like this even more than Casablanca, if that's at all possible. (One of my favorite scenes in movie history is in this movie: the motorcycle chase. :winner: )

Anyone seen "The Three Amigos?" :anyone:
