Vision (about St. Hildegard)

The Agony and the Ecstasy

Lourdes

Maximilian: Saint of Auschwitz

A Man Called Peter (not entirely sure if this is about a Catholic chaplain or not...haven't watched it but the cover has a guy in a collar)

Becket

Lilies of the Field (love! so good! Sydney Poitier is a wandering carpenter who ends up helping recently emigrated German nuns build a new chapel)

I don't know if this is on Netflix, but I want to see this new movie, about a Pope who runs away after getting elected lol:

Even more relevant given recent happenings in the Vatican lol. I'd like to see it.

Anyone ever see "Becket" with Peter O'Toole and Richard Burton? I want to see it.

Saw this, good movie.

Yep. Very good. Interesting parallels to Thomas More (and the movie "A Man for All Seasons" is also available to stream) with the King of England attempting to control the Church in his country by means of appointing a puppet bishop. It's pretty awesome seeing Becket's conversion after he is consecrated.

"For Greater Glory" is also on there. Just watched it for the first time tonight. I
found it to be better than the haters reported, but not as good as the
fanboys liked. A lot of people criticized it for bad acting, but it
seemed just fine to me. Cinematography was good too. It did seem a bit
one-sided and the plot was predictable. But good enough for three stars,
nonetheless.
