there's so much purity in her eyes! It's amazing to think that she saw and conversed with Our Lord and Mother Mary, and her Guardian Angel, St Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows, etc. When reading about her it also shows how the Saints saw the world so differently.

I love St. Gemma Galgani.  She is someone I really look up to because I feel like I have much in common with her, especially health troubles and not being able to enter religious life (at least right now).  I love looking at her pictures.  Her eyes are beautiful!  :)

I find that she inspires me and has the virtues that I lack. Whenever I read about her I want to live a better more holy life.

The two Passionist Nuns wearing White Habit are from the Philippines; one Japanese and one Filipina.  The Sisters wear white Habit instead of Black.

The Foundress of the Passionist Nuns in the Philippines is an American: Mother Marilyn

I didn't know there are Passionist nuns in the Philippines. Are they the only community who wear the white habit?

I imagine so since it is a tropical climate there.  I honestly cannot think of any communities who wear a dark habit in the Phillipines.  :)

Yes, I saw some Benedictines here with their traditional black habit.

Ah, that is interesting!  I hope they stay indoors most of the time!  :hehe:
