Selah Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 So, has anyone here, when someone died, asked their guardian angel to watch over their family and friends/pray for them? Or, has anyone ever asked the deceased's angel to pray for the soul of the departed and their family and friends? It's an odd question, I know. But I have been asking my guardian angel lately to pray for someone who passed on. Maybe comfort him, and be a friend to him. Anyhow. Yeah. I've heard there is a tradition of asking your guardian angel to go to Mass for you if you cannot/ or a pilgrimage. So your question isn't strange at all and is really beautiful and thoughtful.
