I guess the Holy Father felt the movie was worthy for his and the Vatican staff's viewing.

 

 

Lot's of Pope's engage in mortification to help them attain holiness.

so if you can't give specific examples about how the movie is cynical how about examples of how it's cliché. Or are all the clichés confined to him getting beat up a lot?

I think I did give examples. But it's hard to list them out to people who haven't seen the movie. Have you seen the movie?

no I was going to but it was sold out so I saw another, lucky me?. I must have missed the examples. But I probably won't bother to see it now/ Mission accomplished.

Which I mean good for her, though it does make me wonder how that came about.

That is normally the case. However, there are times when a stand must be made. Plus I wasted 10 dollars and 137 minutes of my life. Villainy must be confronted.  

 

You should sue Angelina Jolie for 10 dollars and 137 minutes of her life.
