Marbury Dominican Nuns - Lenten Chant

The Dominicans apparently have a chant they sing on the Fridays of Lent called The Canticle of the Passion. It was revealed to St. Catherine de Ricci by the Blessed Mother and then spread throughout the order. I don't know if the friars sing it, too, or only the nuns.

The nuns of Marbury in Alabama recorded themselves singing it and have posted a Vimeo with images from sacred art.

It's sung a capella, mostly as a solo although other voices join in occasionally.

What I find interesting is the delays between  lines; it's not sung straight through, but with pauses of four or five seconds between each line - the better to meditate upon the lines, I suppose.

It's not quite ten minutes long.
