A few days ago Isis killed 19 girls for refusing to have "jihad sex".

Article with video of jihadists laughing about the girls they want to buy: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3186229/ISIS-executes-19-girls-refusing-sex-fighters-envoy-reveals-sex-slaves-peddled-like-barrels-petrol.html

All women and girls are slaves and heretics to them and therefore are literal objects for rape and abuse. Please pray to Mary and all our great virgins martyrs for the purity, resolution, freedom of these girls.

Isn't it  just a little bizarre  that  The national media in the United States has not or has  barely  said a word about  these hideous murders of young women

  Or am I just paranoid

Since it does not advance the agenda of Obama/the Democratic Party (which has chosen to largely ignore and downplay the ISIS threat), the "mainstream" media has little interest in the horrific crimes of ISIS.  (Similar to how they willfully ignore the gruesome crimes of Planned Parenthood.)

Instead, we need to focus on the REAL evils in the world, like people having to pay for their own condoms, or bakers refusing to bake "gay wedding" cakes.

shame on you socrates, bad mouthing Obama and the Democrat party, they gave us the Klan, Planned Parenthood, Obama care, and so much more !

you are probably just one of these bitter right wingers who is a sore loser that Obama was voted in TWICE,

ugh i can't even continue being sarcastic....

As if not reporting the truth of what ISIS , the Taliban, Al Q( cant spell it not looking it up ) suddenly means that they are not a big deal anymore and are not harming anyone.

But versus what the Democrat party has done to destroy this country and the Catholic Church, where do ya begin to try.

Don't forget the evil First and Second Amendment or the nasty idea of privacy found in that old outdated document the    " Bill of Rights " in the U.S. constitution

ISIS are a threat to everyone, as they'd kill anyone who doesn't conform to their ideas and practices. However, I think it's clear that the fight against them has to first come from the people in those countries and the surrounding nations. The US and other western countries can assist, maybe with air strikes, which are happening, but another ground offensive wouldn't really be advisable.

What exactly can Hilary Clinton do, or any US offical come to that, beyond what is already being done? I think the lessons of past interventions give rise to valid caution.

sex trafficking, slavery, rape, otherwise brutalization of women and children and yes, even murder under this context happens all over the world even right under your own nose in your own country. It's not just ISIS. Do you want US military efforts extended to all groups that do this? It's just not possible. That's one reason I never bought op "Iraqi Freedom" as if our primary motive is securing the rights of oppressed people because, for example, there's been decades of slaughter and rape in Uganda, the DRC, Sudan and well there are no serious pleas for the US gov't to get involved. It is not politically or economically advantageous for them to do so. If you're going to blame Obama for choosing political and economic expediency over human rights, then please also blame Bush, Truman, and probably every president ever.

With that said, prayers for these poor girls, their families, and all who are still held captive. The evil in this world knows no bounds.

Ya don't blame the past presidents for current world problems, ya blame the one that is in office in the present.

There should be a more global push to end not only ISIS, but other problem areas as you already mentioned. But what do we get instead, everyone just says oh well if it isn't beneficial for us. But it is nice to know that Hilary and womens' rights groups are more concerned about what is going on here and totally oblivious to what is going on abroad making sure to only blame America for how horrible it is in the broad sense of the term.

Anything is possible when people want to make something happen. Should everything be solved with the military, obviously not, but for these third world hell holes that are run by war lords, the military is the best option and probably the only real option to securing those areas and putting an end to endless crimes that have gone unchecked for far too long.  But that won't be happening any time soon in any direction as long as we keep voting in the new socialist party and the party of do nothing.

Past crimes pail in the light of the  atrocities committed by Isis.

There has been a steady stream of horrific stories is coming out of jihadist-held areas. Terrorists hold hundreds of Christians, including seniors and children. For apostolic nuncio to Damascus, "Christians have been abandoned". There is "blood everywhere" and everyone is suffering.

exactly, and instead of focusing on what ISIS and others are doing, and bringing up what this current administration under obama and the democrat party is not doing in regards to it, it gets spun into oh well BUSH is the devil first, second evil will always be here in the world, and third America needs to fix it self first.

An then some how those that are in the ban wagon of oh we cant spread the military around, well yeah we kinda have to agree on that one because the current administration is doing so much to weaken and down size the military to the point to where our nations military just physically can no longer be spread around anymore, BUT in the exact same stroke of all of this. America still gets blamed for not doing ENOUGH !

At least by the socialist , democrat, agenda and standards.

Don't talk like a right wingnut teabagger.  Everyone knows the constitutional right to privacy is just about how the states must be forced to fund abortion and sanction "gay marriage."

And the first amendment was all about porn and keeping religion out of public life, and the second amendment grants the federal government the right to have guns.
