Let's hope we are wise enough to choose someone who is impartial (doesn't play favorites) and is mature and has common sense. And maybe some of the current Mediators of Meh could be more actively involved if Ash is feeling overwhelmed some times? Anyway, let's see what happens. Never thought of being a Mediator of Meh and I don't suppose I will be. But I'm going to vote for someone there are some people on the list who I think would make great Mediators of Meh, others I don't know enough. (Not that I'm hoping for your death, beatitude! ) That being said, I don't know if she'd want it. It'd drag her into a lot of drama that is really not her style. I'd worry for her peace of mind. beatitude: What say you, good sister? Honestly, I think Ignatius of Loyola could be a really good Mediator of Meh, too. Thank-you Gabriela for your kind words. I construct my posts very carefully to try to be fair and even-handed, but don't always succeed, because in my heart I'm not so charitable. I've decided to try to deal with most of my uncharitable thoughts by keeping my mouth shut. I don't know that I'd make a good Mediator of Meh, and my first reaction is that I'm not interested. This is a Catholic phorum, and I think many people would be (probably justifiably) uncomfortable with a non-Catholic Mediator of Meh. So, I'll voluntarily remove myself from consideration.
