Good video. He's so good at what he does. Thanks, Josh! [thumbs-up emoticon, and frowny for it being missing!]

Colbert is pretty good.  I wish I knew more of his stance on things, it'd be interesting if he's legit Catholic.  There's been many really cool and faithful Catholics in media in the past, not so much now.

Ash Wednesday

It is true that they both need conversion. (As we all do.)

Colbert has been somewhat iffy at times and I wonder if he spends a little time in the "cafeteria" -- case in point was his video congratulating gays on the Supreme Court marriage ruling this year or palling around with America magazine (a Jesuit magazine with questionable fidelity)

That said, that's just open speculation on my part and I could do well to keep my eyes on my own paper, so to speak. I can appreciate that he does have an open love for his faith and the Church. It's a step forward from hearing this-or-that-celebrity whine about their Catholic upbringings in an "archaic" Church.

I can't help but laugh when I watch this:

As for Maher... I just....

Yeah.

I would support Colbert for president.  But that's just me.

Just what we need. Another comedian in office.

Can't be worse than the clown that was there for the last 8 years or so.
