EWTN TV specials on women's religious orders

I have watched it five times already and have enjoyed it each time.  I confess to a certain amount of wistfulness that I missed this opportunity during my young adult years of choice-making in the 1970's when formal spirituality was looked upon as an anachronism and sisters and nuns were leaving their communities in droves.  I would choose differently if I had my life to do over again, even though I have been happily married for 42 years and had two amazing daughters.

Swami, can I ask why?  As a discerner, I admit to wishing I had this kind of perspective right now. Of course, it doesn't work that way!
