However, as we were planning the second date via email, I realized that I didn't want to seriously date a non-Catholic. Thankfully, before I could express that, she said that she'd rather just be friends, and since that worked for me too, we sat next to each other for the rest of the semester. Sadly, as I tried to make the opportunity for us to become better friends after the semester passed, she decided that not even the friendship was working out and had us exchange goodbyes. While she seemed to have anxiety issues, I can only theorize the true reason she did this, and I like to think it's because I told her, a comic book movie fan, on our date, "I'm one of the few people who loves Spider-Man 3."
