New Dateless Wonder Thread

Lately, everytime I see a particular aunt of mine she asks if there's anyone I'd consider dating. She's also told me about at least one man she met on her vacation in another state who would be good for me. She even suggested my dad's best friend who's in his 30s. I'm almost 28.

That's nothing. My mother regularly chats up other Baby Boomer ladies behind cash registers at random grocery stores, finds out whether they have a son, and then gives them my phone number and email.

The day some creep breaks into my house and rapes and kills me, she'll regret that poo.

One of my coworker was stopped by a man who didn't know an ounce of English the other day at H.E.B.  He obviously was smitten with her (she is what most men would probably consider a "knock-out.")

She gave him my number.  <_<

I met the lady recently while I was on vacation. She said she has a niece that would be good for me. Problem was, she was in another state. :(

*to the tune of Single Ladies*

Aaall the single pringles,
all the single pringles.
All the single pringles,
all the single pringles.
Now put your hands up!

:guitar:

....or something.

Hahah not quite (I don't like pringles to eat, just to rhyme with "single" ;)), but I like it!

Let's have a single ladies ice cream night!

My mom just makes me baby blankets. I hope my future wife (whoever she may be) never learns my mother's presumptions of our fruitfulness.

Not A Mallard

How's this for a dateless wonder story?:

This past semester, a date with a classmate went pretty well. However, as we were planning the second date via email, I realized that I didn't want to seriously date a non-Catholic. Thankfully, before I could express that, she said that she'd rather just be friends, and since that worked for me too, we sat next to each other for the rest of the semester. Sadly, as I tried to make the opportunity for us to become better friends after the semester passed, she decided that not even the friendship was working out and had us exchange goodbyes. While she seemed to have anxiety issues, I can only theorize the true reason she did this, and I like to think it's because I told her, a comic book movie fan, on our date, "I'm one of the few people who loves Spider-Man 3."
