Why Can't Humans Have Same Sex Relationships?

I'm sure this question has been asked many times before,  but why can't humans have same sex relationships?

The main reason I don't understand is that if we weren't supposed to be dating people that are the same gender as us,  why are some attracted to the same gender?

I'm not trying to cause any fights,  I'm just wondering.

Thanks

Why God creates individuals with same sex attraction is above my pay grade. It is a very heavy cross. For that matter so is being born blind or deaf or with something like spina bifida. We don't know why.  Being born with the genetic predisposition to be an alcoholic is a heavy cross. Alcohol is legal. It's acceptable and even encouraged by our society. Yet, alcoholics have to avoid alcohol in order to live healthy lives.

I had a lot of homosexual clients over the years. I can honestly say that none of them were as happy and healthy as I have experienced with couples in sacramental marriages. I think, and the Church teaches, that same sex relationships aren't natural and they aren't good for us.
