(I b'lieve Trump is mentioned in the  lyrics! They knew all about our current situation back in 1991!)

I've never listened to him, except when he records with people I do listen to. Obviously he can write and he can sing - I was just never much interested in him after "Southern Man" and that typical liberal look-down-your-nose-at-people-who-aren't-like-you attitude.

Another storied singer from Ireland is Christy Moore. He's sort of their version of Pete Singer - a folk singer with very definite and left-leaning political opinions. But he also sings a lot of fun stuff, including "The Reel in the Flickering Light," an encounter by moonlight among the "creatures" ending in a dance.
