is reading romance novel a sin? those with smut and mature, adult, genre

hi guys I am a teenager and read fan translation novel, is reading those with sex scene and have mature, smut and adult are a sin?

First, ask yourself why you are reading it. If it is to become sexually aroused, to act on that arrousal, then it's not okay. If the sex scenes are a legitimate, necessary part of the story line, not overdone, not gratuitous, and not representing an inherently sinful activity, then that might be okay. 

You're a teenager, so I'd be willing to say that you should avoid reading anything with such scenes in it unless it is required reading for a school assignment. 

University students are required to read things in health classes, psychology and/or criminal justice type classes with explicit sexual content. That's a necessary evil when preparing for a career in a field dealing with human brokenness. 

Most fan fiction is written for entertainment value, to take a story in a direction that the original author didn't take the story or to continue a story. Many of these stories are salacious bordering on vile. Please be careful with them.
