Parish Priest

Our parish priest had prostate surgery early this year.  He told us tonight after Vigil Mass that his psa has shot right up and he is having radiation treatment.  He will be taking three weeks off as radiation is leaving him exceptionally tired and he looks it too.  Our Archbishop has asked Father to take leave and Father will be doing so.

That's all I know.   Father K ranks high in my book among the priests I have known.  He is a good priest and a good man, gives the very best of homilies, has a wondrous sense of humour and of the absurd, is totally dedicated to his priesthood and his parish.  Father celebrates Mass devoutly and is a consolation in the Confessional too.

The Solemnity of St Mary of The Cross MacKillop (our first Aussie saint) will be celebrated on 8th August 2017 coming.

Please keep Father K in your prayer ..........Fiat Voluntas Tua............
