Ewtn says the pope just appointed 7 bishops to the state run Chinese church, a church that has to swear its alliegence to the state first and foremost.

Good one for you warbler. I am unsure what the pope is trying to do.

This church sounds more Anglican then catholic, Anglicans used to have to swear there alligence to the crown of england

Thought I'd get one up on ya warns. Lol.

Like certainly the pope has his reasons but what are they? Vatican spies?

Jesus iz Lord.

Though yes I will remain catholic mwhahaha in communion with the saint on heaven and earth, with the grace of god even to a bitter end.

Warbler says "damned fool stop being so faithful"

Jokes warbs. But saint Paul does say persist till the end.

Maybe not those exact words but he certainly was pushing at that. :P

Just because the boat is storm ravaged doesn't mean we abandon ship. Not me anyway. There was a big debate for years about letting particular catholics back into holy mother church after they absconded and sided with the Nazis and where warned multiple times not to.

Not aimed at you warbs.

interesting how the gates of hell don't prevail against the church and she always comes out on top eventually. You would get right into a phatmass rapper named akalyte, he is very Orthodox roman catholic. Just you tube akalyte 'gates of hell' that will open up his collection of songs. I love him, great flow, great beats and great content.
