Nuns and "Nones"

The premise is that God is still calling, but the ministerial need has changed. Now it's the lay people who need to minister to the "nones" in order to get nuns.

Amazing. Thanks for this inspirational peice. Yeah the decline in nuns,priests and deacons was noticed awhile ago, supposedly vat2 was in reality about empowering the laymen to really become pro active in the mission and not just prayer, church plates and family. Unsure we've all heard the call though or perhaps waiting for a prophet to give a sign. Young men and woman of god rise up, Jesus says something so radical even in the world today that marriage, sex and having children isn't the be all end all and that there are other ways to use that drive to create and love. P.s. not all are called to follow strict orders of the holy priest hood or religious though these too are good, you can freestyle this with the support of a good friend or 2, some missions last a few years, some a lifetime. Why not give it a go, even if its just outside working hours? Lord god thankyou for our faith please also grant us a spirit of courage and boldness to go against the grain and rebuke in us the spirit of timidity and fear. In Jesus name for my salvation. Amen

P.s.s yeah the west is an evangelising mind field but also where not doing as great as we think, unemployment is high, Thailand's kicking our butts with 1.3% unemployment rate closely followed by Singapore than Malaysia. Plenty of poor to help in western countries guys and get back on there feet even if its like in Thailand with a street hotdog stand after establishing the kingdom in there life.
