Admitted to Grad School!

I am so surprised I forgot to post this last week but I was admitted to the Master of Social Work program at Walden University starting May 29th!  After meeting with my friend last month, it became apparent that God wants me on a different path instead of studying animal behavior.  I had a keen interest in psychology and mental health for so many years but was concerned that, due to my own mental health issues, I would not make a good counselor.  My good friend is an LCSW and has a similar story and personality.  I admire her so much and she dissolved my fears.  I looked around and wanted to start right away but most "brick and mortar" schools want you to take the GRE - something that caused me overwhelming anxiety.  So, naturally, private schools and online schools were the best choice.  Walden has an approved CSWE program with an excellent curriculum.  I was accepted Monday of last week and I am so excited to get started!
