The Dominican Confraternities of the Angelic Warfare and the Holy Rosary in the Province of Saint Joseph are teaming up to co-sponsor a Novena for the intention that the Spirit of Truth would descend upon the Church with great power.

In the Gospel of John chapters 14-16, the Lord promised to send the Spirit of Truth upon us. He promised the Spirit would dwell in us, give us faith in Jesus Christ, and repentance for our sins. The Church is now badly in need of renewal in the Spirit of Truth, and it is for this renewal that we pray and sacrifice for nine days.

The Novena for the Spirit of Truth goes from the Feast of the Archangels (September 29th) through the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary (October 7th).

One hundred Masses are being offered for this intention.

We invite all the members of the Confraternity to participate in this Novena by offering a daily Rosary and personal sacrifices for the intention, and to spread the word about this Novena so that others too may join in. The more people who pray, the more powerful the whole thing becomes.
