For example, my order is devoted to the Sacred Heart. Take a look at any of our websites, and that will be clear. You won't immediately see anything about Mary - for that, you have to delve deeper. Do that, and you'll discover that we have our own image - Mater Admirabilis - which is displayed in every Sacred Heart school or college around the world, and has its own feast day. Talk to Sacred Heart alumnae, and you'll probably hear that even decades after leaving school, they still have a devotion to Mater, nurtured when they were children. BUT this won't be immediately apparent as you surf around our sites, because our greatest devotion is to the Heart of Jesus - and this would be the same for many other orders dedicated to the Sacred Heart, or for example, the Trinity, the Cross, Providence or St Andrew and so on: Mary is there, but she's not the central focus.

And I rather think that Mary, like any loving mother, is very happy to let her Son take centre stage.
