Another Good Confession Experience

I went to Confession a few hours ago. I'm doing the first 5 Saturdays devotion. For my penance the priest asked me to say an Our Father and pray for family that had passed on. That they be accepted into Heaven to live with God forever. I go to Confession often and never received this penance before.

So I was eating just now and got the phone call that my Grandmother who is 89 passed away. She was a great person and will be missed. This will be added to my experiences that let me know life most likely has a spirt component to it. Sure it could just be a coincidence. I wouldn't argue with anyone about it. Although added to other experiences I know in my mind how I choose to view it.
