Byzantine Liturgy

The Latin Rite uses unleavened bread becaue that is what Christ used and what e Jews used at the Passover. The Byzantines use leavened because it symbolizes the Resurrection. Both are completely valid. For more info, go to www.ewtn.com and click on Catholic Q and A. There is an entire section devoted to the Eastern Church.

Now that this topic has been brought up, I'd like to ask, has anyone here been to an Eastern Rite Mass, or as they call it, Divine Liturgy? I've been to one, and well, it's different! They use lots more incense than Latin rite Catholics, for example. And that's just part of it. I found it beautiful, but I still think I like the Latin rite Novus Ordo better. But that's just me. :)
