That means that they don't have relations outside their marriage. Hyper, I am merely saying that I don't identify a person according to his or her sexual orientation. It just seems to me that it's none of my business what their inner longings may be. I also get uncomfortable when heterosexuals discuss their sex lives. It's just...private. I prefer they keep it that way. As a Southern Gentleman, and a Catholic, I hope you understand that I regard human sexuality as sacred. As such, it shouldn't be exploited or regarded as common or base... I was recently sharing with an e-friend how a lady in my hometown was once verbally lusting after one of our very holy and handsome new priests. GAG. I never forgot her words. Some things are better off not spoken. I wished I hadn't heard her boasting loudly in a public place about her fantasies of this man of God. We have quite a bit in common, you and I...I have Jewish roots, and my hubbie's side is black...But, I just don't seem to focus on that as "who" I am, I guess... I'm not sure what people's idea of Chastity is, but we are called to it, for as long as we are human beings. And just a reminder, that is from our conception, for the rest of eternity. What is Chastity? It is the upholding of the dignity of sex. Anything that does not uphold the dignity of sex is a sin against Chastity. So this applies to everyone. Dirty jokes are a sin against Chastity. Pornography is a sin against Chastity. Prostitution is a sin against Chastity. Entertaining impure thoughts is a sin against Chastity. Are you seeing how every single person is called to Chastity now? I have a little word document I wrote recently if you want me to expound a little further.
