Yes, a theologoumenon is a theological opinion that is based upon a particular system of thought. Thus, the [i]filioque[/i] is a theologoumenon of the Triadology of the Western Church, which makes sense within its own theological system, but which does not reflect the Eastern (Byzantine) understanding of the nature of the Trinity.
