At times before I got back into the faith, I used to ask why people were rejoicing at the suffering of jesus on the cross. This is a great way to explain to others who like myself at one point don't understand this. Great to hear how you tied it into last weeks version. Don't get me wrong....I really appreciate the homily at my parish's mass, but they are in no way as informative or as powerful as these. Thanks again Fr. Pontifex.
