Short stories by contemporary masters like Stephen King and Clive Barker, as well as old legends like Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, M.R. James, and Ray Bradbury. I have a real yen for this stuff. I've also been reading [i]How the Catholic Church Built Western Civilization[/i] by Thomas Woods, Jr. Highly recommended; an informative and entertaining read, as well as a good source for apologetics. I read it to my Dad after his brain surgery. It's fascinating. And quite well written of course. I think my fav chapter (1st one I think) is about the gritiness of Catholicism.
