God Conquers

The letters which the apostles wrote to their followers in the various churches of Asia Minor are unequivocally dated to the 1st century AD. The Koran was written in the 6th century, 500 years later. The apostles speak of confusion of scripture and doctrine and several of these scriptures strike at the heart of the Muslim faith. It is important to consider them.

Mohammed said he recieved the Koran from an angel. A new gospel for a new religion.

Galatians 1: 6-8 "I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel - not that there is another gospel, but there are some who are confusing you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should proclaim to you a gospel contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let that one be accursed."

Major tenets of Islam: Jesus is not the Christ (not God), God is One, God is not Father, Jesus is not Son.

1John 2: 21- 22 " I write to you, not because you do not know thw truth, but because you know it, and you know that no lie comes from the truth. Who is the liar but the one that denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the father and the son."

Note that this is not just Paul speaking, but Paul AND John, both relating similar warnings, 500 years before the time of Mohammed. The arabian peninsula, during the 6th century, was a hotbed of Gnosticism. The Eastern Church as a whole was going through a time of difficulty and many heresies were being combatted. No one would pay attention to the man who preached a new brand of Gnostic heresy, thinking it would pass like the others.

Just some thoughts from personal investigation, corrections are welcome, especially from those of Islamic faith.
