Jesus_lol Posted March 19, 2009 Share Posted March 19, 2009 (edited) hahaha! alright, i am going to go see Kreator live april 24th!!! i love their new album should be good. maybe Testament as well, in may we will see. i know this might not go over well here, but the band Athiest is simply amazing. incredibly good techy death metal, very organic sounding, and frequent full blown jazz sections, songs melodies, etc. really good stuff. psycroptic is my favourite death metal band now. ridiculous singing, but i just cant get over how amazing there guitarist is. killing my hands learning the riffs from their song [url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaL2PB8Ol_Q"]Cruelty incarnate[/url] and this one has simply the coolest riff/solo i have ever heard in it. [url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rj4Pw0kUJT4"]Horde in Devolution[/url] at the 1:15 and 3:05 marks respectively. cant wait for it to be tabbed so i can learn it! Ahh! No! However the rest are not particularly aurally pleasing to me. Favourite artists... Johnny Cash, Lava Hay (do yourself a huge favour and look them up on youtube!!), Tom Petty... along those lines usually. I also have weird artists on that list. Then pretend they all formed a giant guitar supergroup of whatever skill they have. Brian Setzer could put them all to shame. No joke, look him up. He's the Stray Cats guy.
