Pumpkin Carving Patterns

One thing I have done, and hope to continue to do, despite my age, is to carve a few pumpkins every year. I always loved doing it when I was younger and I enjoy taking a few hours, putting on "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" or Disney's "Legend of Sleepy Hollow," and working on carving my pumpkin. A few years ago I stumbled upon an excellent site for this purpose, which can be found here http://www.dltk-holidays.com/halloween/mpatterns.htm

Enjoy! And, if you use one, post your pics, I would be interested in seeing how well you did....seeing as I am pretty horrible at it, but, yet, still enjoy it :)

Thanks for posting these, both of you. I usually create some patterns myself, but this year I bought like 20+ pumpkins  so these will come in really handy! :D

I usually pick out a stencil from here: Homestar Runner stencils

But maybe I'll have to check out the stencils others have posted first. :)

Well, I definitely had the most fun this year that I've ever had carving pumpkins.

Here are a few that browneyedgirl79 did (she isn't on very often so I'll share for her):

I LOVE this one:

She also did a really cool Happy Halloween one that we forgot to get a picture of! :ohno: Maybe later I'll get a pic of it...

And here are mine:

MissScripture says I'm a redneck. I can't figure out why... :idontknow: She said it right after I showed her this:

And here is my attempt at carving Jack Skellington from the Nightmare Before Christmas:

Didn't come out QUITE as well as I'd hoped, and he lost a "tooth". :( Ah well...

In the Navy we consider this a dental emergency. Jack needs to come into dental right away.
