I assume most people have already seen this but for those who haven't, be warned this film is ripe with language and violence.

Fixed the title :) I just want to second this opinion, as this is an excellent film that more Catholics need to see! It is a very bleak film but I think that for Catholics, knowing we must suffer in this life, it is a beautiful portrait of Christian endurance in the face of very trying circumstances.

Perhaps I missed it, but don't think that anyone has mentioned The Trouble With Angels. It's from back in the day when the mainstream media actually enjoyed presenting Catholicism in a positive light.
